Day 1: Singapore – Johor Bahru – Melakak

Depart the urban landscape of Singapore for Malaysia, where your adventure kicks off with a visit to Kampung Cantik village. Here, we’ll connect with locals by joining a family for a Be My Guest lunch. Immerse yourself in the local culture, engaging in some of the villagers’ favourite activities such as top spinning and silat, a Malaysian art of self-defence.

Day 2: Melaka City Tour

This morning, you go on the tour of Melaka, visit St. Paul Hill, Porta de Santiago, Stadhuy’s Museum and Jonker Street, the artistic center of the city with its trendy art galleries, antique stores, and crafts shops.

Day 3: Melaka – Putrajaya – Kuala Lumpur

On our way to Kuala Lumpur, we make a stop at Malaysia’s national capital city, Putrajaya, to explore its architectural landmarks, such as the Putra Mosque, Perdana Putra (the ‘White House of Malaysia’), and more. Lunch will be provided before we continue our journey to Kuala Lumpur and check into our accommodations.

Day 4: Kuala Lumpur City Tour

In the morning, our sightseeing tour introduces you to the captivating blend of old and new in Kuala Lumpur, the Garden City of Lights. Highlights include a visit to the renowned Petronas Twin Towers, the National Museum, and various cultural attractions. The afternoon is yours to explore this remarkable city at your own pace.

Day 5: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands

Check-out after breakfast and visit to Royal Selangor Pewter. Proceed to Batu Caves – the holy, sacred cave temple for the Hindus. Continue your journey to Cameron Highlands, located at 1542meters above sea level and noted for its tea plantations and cool temperatures. En-route stop at the Lata Iskandar Waterfall. Be immersed in the cool, crisp air of Cameron Highlands with its wonderful scenery. Proceed to hotel for check-in and Dinner at the resort.

Day 6: Cameron Highlands – Ipoh

Today’s journey takes you through the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia’s most extensive hill station, characterized by lush valleys and tea plantations that offer a serene backdrop. Capture the emerald landscape in a memorable photo before heading to the Perak Cave Temple in Ipoh, an expansive cave complex. In the afternoon, indulge in a walking tour of the charming town of Ipoh. Marvel at the colonial-style buildings that once housed affluent tin miners and have now been repurposed into trendy cafés and shops. Wander through the narrow laneways of the old town, appreciating the street art that embellishes its facades.

Day 7: Ipoh – Kuala Kangsar – Penang

Journey to Penang through Kuala Kangsar, drive around Bukit Chandan and view Malaysia’s unique architecture of the exterior of Masjid Ubudiah, Istana Iskandariah, and Istana Kenangan (Royal Gallery). Continue onward to the “Pearl of the Orient” via one of the longest bridges in the world. Visit Kek Lok Si Temple, the temple of 1000 Buddhas. Ascend Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera via the funicular train up to 800 meters above sea level to escape the heat and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Georgetown and part of the mainland.

Day 8: Penang City Tour

Immerse yourself in the bygone era of Asia as you embark on a historical tour of Georgetown. Photo stop at Fort Cornwallis, where Captain Francis Light, the founder of the British colony in Penang, first set foot in 1786. Explore the home of a local joss stick maker, who will demonstrate the nearly-forgotten craft of handcrafting joss sticks. Your next destination is the intricately adorned Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi, a place where families of the same surname gather to pay homage to their ancestors.

Day 9: Depart Malaysia

Today marks the conclusion of our visit to Malaysia as we journey back to home.
