Solo, but never alone
Travelling solo is one of the easiest ways to join a Soca Islands trip. You’ll have a group from day one, with plenty of opportunities to connect without it feeling forced. If you want your own space, you can always choose a private room.
Activity levels
Our trips are designed for people with a moderate level of fitness, with a mix of activity and downtime. Some experiences require more energy, and we shall always let you know in advance. Each trip includes a physical rating so you can choose what suits you best.

Soca Islands began with a simple act of kindness. Roger, who was providing ticketing services at a popular Trinidad Carnival event, noticed someone standing near the entrance looking completely lost. He struck up a conversation and quickly learned that the traveller had booked their trip through a conceirge service. While the service had handled the basics, something was missing to truly help someone truly navigate and enjoy the full Carnival experience while making meaningful connections.
From this small encounter, the vision for Soca Islands was born: to create a travel experience that goes beyond the booking. One that connects people to the culture, supports them every step of the way, connect every traveller with a group of ready made friends and make them feel at home regardless of the destination being explored.
What started with helping one lost traveller has now grown into guiding many more from around the world to embrace the spirit, culture, and the magic of Carnival across the Caribbean. And now Soca Islands has eveolved into your gateway to more unforgettable adventures around the world.
