Itinerario del grupo

Make your way to Ubud at your own pace, and use any spare hours to wander the rice paddies or simply rest. In the evening the group comes together for the first time over a welcome dinner on a clifftop, coconut mojito in hand as the sun goes down.

Balinese life puts real weight on keeping body, mind and spirit in balance, and today shows you how. A local family opens up their kitchen and teaches you their versions of nasi goreng, satay and martabak, the stuffed pancake sold at night markets across Indonesia.

Later you'll follow a jungle path to a secluded waterfall for a melukat, the traditional purification ritual Balinese people use to cleanse and reset.

Climb into a vintage VW jeep and head out through the forest, where the local monkeys are likely to come and say hello. You'll stop at Ubud Palace, the former royal residence in the center of town, then sit down to lunch overlooking the terraced paddies. The afternoon is open: browse the shops, find a café, or book a Balinese massage.

Spend the morning at a farming cooperative, learning how local growers work the land sustainably, then cook lunch alongside a chef using what came out of the garden. In the afternoon, slow right down with yoga and a guided yoga nidra meditation. Tonight is yours for Ubud's markets and restaurants; pack light, because tomorrow you head for the islands.

Today you swap Ubud for the Gilis, a trio of small islands off Lombok where bicycles and horse carts replace traffic. Once you've checked in, kick off your shoes and get a feel for the sandy lanes before a group dinner with plenty of choice on the menu.

A private boat is yours for the day. You'll hop between Gili Meno and Gili Air, dropping into the water to snorkel over coral, find the famous underwater statues and look out for sea turtles. Lunch comes at a stop along the way, with time to swim and lie in the sun before heading back.

Say goodbye to the Gilis and travel back to Bali's southern tip, where Uluwatu's limestone cliffs drop down to famous surf breaks. The afternoon is unstructured: walk the sand at Batu Bolong or Echo Beach, grab a fresh coconut, or treat yourself to a massage. Tonight the group eats together at a beachfront spot.

Give the day over to one of Bali's well-known beach clubs: claim a daybed, swim, order a cocktail and take the photos you'll want later. As the light turns gold, watch the sun sink off the Uluwatu cliffs, then keep things casual with dinner up on the clifftops.

Your final day brings you to Pura Luhur Uluwatu, the sea temple set on the edge of a sheer cliff, for a Kecak performance, where a circle of chanting voices tells a story from the Ramayana. Afterward the group heads down to the beach for a farewell dinner and one last round of stories from the trip.

Preguntas frecuentes del viaje

Fly into and out of Bali (DPS) airport.

Yes. If you arrive on Day 1 of your adventure or book pre-tour accommodation with us, your airport arrival transfer is included. If you choose alternative pre-tour accommodation or arrive by another mode of transport, you’ll need to arrange your own arrival transfer.

Our arrival transfers are private to Soca Islands and are organised in groups based on flight times. Sometimes this means a short wait at the airport until other flights arrive.

There are no scheduled activities on the final day, so feel free to book your departure at your own convenience.

We recommend arriving before 3 pm on Day 1 to make it in time for the welcome event. But don’t worry no matter when you land, we’ll have an airport transfer ready for you.

Please Refer to your government’s travel advice or consult your local consulate. Remember, passport and visa requirements can change, so make sure to stay updated.

Excluding alcohol, we suggest budgeting around USD $40.00 per day for extras.

4. Medication tips: If you take prescription medication, bring enough to last the entire trip, plus a few extra days in case of delays. Carry a copy of your prescription in case you need to visit a clinic abroad.

We hope this helps you prepare for a safe and enjoyable adventure.

Please keep in mind that our itinerary, activities, and hotels might change. These adjustments could happen with little notice due to factors like availability, weather conditions, seasonal shifts, or other circumstances beyond our control. Rest assured, we always aim to minimise any impact on your experience. Occasionally, we may tweak the itinerary to try out fresh ideas and keep the adventure exciting.

We believe solo travelers shouldn’t have to pay extra to explore the world. That’s why our group trips are designed around shared accommodation and do not include a single supplement. Solo travelers joining our group trips are paired in twin or multi-share rooms with another traveler of the same sex for the duration of the trip.

Some of our Independent trips are structured differently. For these itineraries, solo travelers will need to book at the single occupancy rate.

Tips are not included in the cost of this tour. Remember, tipping is entirely at your discretion and based on what you feel comfortable with.
