Croatia's islands are made for slow afternoons and clear water, but this trip gives each day a bit of action too. After a first dinner in Split, you raft the Cetina River, then cross by boat to the island of Brač and base yourself in the fishing village of Postira.
A full day by speedboat shows you Brač from the water, with swims in quiet coves, a stop at Bol's Golden Horn beach and visits to villages like Milna and Splitska. Then you move on to Hvar for a coastal walk through olive groves, lunch in a traditional konoba and a half-day out to the Pakleni Islands before a farewell dinner.
Boats, ferries, transfers and hotels are handled for you, and your Soca Islands Host is with the group from the first evening, leaving plenty of room for beach time, seafood and long evenings by the harbor. Groups are kept to between 6 and 16 travelers.
Why This Journey
Getting around the Dalmatian islands on your own means ferry timetables, port transfers and a lot of guesswork about where to swim. On this trip a private speedboat day and a boat out to the Pakleni Islands take you to the coves you'd struggle to reach alone, while Postira and Hvar give you two very different island bases: one a quiet fishing village, the other a lively harbor town.
It suits travelers who want an active, sociable week by the sea without a packed schedule, and first-timers who'd like to see Croatia from the water rather than just the shore.

Group itinerary
Once you land in Split, a transfer takes you to your hotel beside the walls of Diocletian's Palace. Take the afternoon to rest, or stretch your legs along the Riva and through the palace's old lanes.
As evening comes, meet your Soca Islands Host and the group to share a Dalmatian dinner of local specialties, the easiest way to start getting to know each other.
Breakfast is on Split's waterfront, then you head inland to raft the Cetina River. The rapids are gentle and the canyon scenery is the real star.
Lunch is in the small town of Omiš at the river's mouth. Afterward a private boat carries you across the channel to Postira on Brač, where you check in and have the evening to explore the harbor.
A private speedboat is yours for the whole day, circling Brač. Swim in quiet coves, cruise under white limestone cliffs and stop at the Golden Horn, the spit of pebble beach at Bol.
Along the way you call in at Splitska, Milna and Bobovišća, villages each with its own harbor and a slower rhythm of island life. Brač is Croatia's third-largest island, and the water is the best way to see it.
Take your time this morning before catching a ferry to Hvar. Check in and spend the rest of the day as you like, walking the old town or relaxing by the sea.
Hvar's beach clubs and waterfront bars are popular at sunset if you want to keep the evening going.
In the morning you follow a coastal path on Hvar through olive groves, stopping to swim in the Adriatic whenever the water looks too good to pass.
Lunch is at a konoba, a traditional Dalmatian tavern, where you try local specialties. The afternoon is free for exploring the island or taking it easy.
Today a boat takes you out for half a day to the Pakleni Islands, a string of small wooded islets off Hvar. Swim in clear bays and spend time on the beach at Palmižana before heading back.
In the evening the group shares a farewell dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate the week.
After breakfast you transfer back to Split to connect with your flight home. If you're staying on, Split's old town and Diocletian's Palace are right there to explore; extra nights can be requested.
