Unwrap an adventure

Give the trip, not the thing

A Soca Islands gift card is a down payment on somewhere they have always meant to go. Choose an amount, we send them a card by email, and they put it towards any trip we run — Carnival, the Caribbean, or further.

How it works

Three steps, about two minutes

1

Choose an amount

$250 covers a deposit on most of our trips, which is the point at which a trip stops being an idea. Give more and you are paying for a bigger share of it — or enter any amount you like.

2

Pay securely

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through the same payment system that handles our bookings. You do not need an account with us.

3

We send the card

Tell us who it is for and we email them their card and code. Want it to land on a particular morning — a birthday, Christmas Day — tell us the date and we will send it then.

Pick an amount

Gift cards from $250

Or enter any amount you like. Every card is valid on any Soca Islands trip, and it never expires.

Paid securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No account needed, and the card never expires. Gift card terms.

For any occasion

Four cards, and a reason for each

Tell us which one you would like and we will send that design.

Wedding & honeymoon

For couples who would rather have a trip than another serving dish. Point your guests at it and let them club together.

Why a trip

The best gifts are not things

Nobody remembers their fourth-best present. They remember the week they spent somewhere they had only seen in photographs, with people who are now friends.

A gift card is also the honest way to give a trip: they pick the destination, the dates and who they go with, and you have paid for the part that makes it possible.

Questions

What people ask

They book any trip on our site as normal, then send us their gift card code. We put it against their balance and they pay the rest. If they would rather we help them choose first, they can just reply to the email their card arrives in.

No. A Soca Islands gift card has no expiry date. The money stays theirs until they use it.

Yes — any Soca Islands trip or departure, including Carnival, and towards a deposit, an instalment or a final balance.

You can buy one that covers a particular trip — tell us which trip you have in mind and we will tell you what it costs, or what a deposit on it comes to, and you give that amount.

The card itself stays flexible: it is money, not a ticket, so if they decide on somewhere else instead, nothing is lost and nothing needs changing.

They pay the difference the usual way. Most cards cover a deposit rather than a whole trip, which is exactly how most people use them.

Talk to us before booking and we will make sure nothing is lost. We would rather sort that out in advance than have you find out afterwards.

Yes. Tell us the date when you buy and we will send it that morning. If you do not say, we send it straight away.

Yes. You do not need an account, and neither does the person you are giving it to.

The card itself is not refundable once it has been sent, but if something has gone wrong — the wrong address, the wrong amount, a change of mind before we send it — write to us and we will fix it.

Not sure how much to give?

Tell us who it is for and roughly what they would like to do, and we will tell you what a sensible amount looks like. A gift card for a bigger group, or for a company, is a conversation rather than a button — just ask.
