This day covers a lot of ground, and it's meant to. You'll take the wheel of a UTV on the sandy tracks around San Pedro, climb out to explore a cave in the island's dry interior, and stand at Boka Patrick as the sea shoots up through the rocks.
Then it's time to cool down at Daaibooi Beach, a small bay with calm water that's easy to swim in.
The afternoon moves to Curaçao's culture. At Landhuis Chobolobo, a 19th-century estate, you'll learn how Blue Curaçao liqueur is made and try it for yourself. The day wraps up with views over Caracas Bay and time around Jan Thiel, its lagoon and local markets.
Why This Journey
Curaçao is more than Willemstad's colorful waterfront, and this day shows its other sides: the rugged, dry interior off-road, a wild stretch of coast, a calm beach and the island's best-known liqueur at the estate where it's made.
It suits travelers who like variety and a bit of adventure in one day, with a Soca Islands Host along and every stop planned in advance.
