Morne Trois Pitons is the UNESCO-listed national park at the center of Dominica, a landscape of rainforest, crater lakes and geothermal springs. With your own guide and vehicle, you'll cover its highlights without worrying about roads, trailheads or timing.
The day starts with a swim through Titou Gorge, climbs to the Freshwater Lake in an old volcanic crater and stops at the twin Trafalgar Falls. Then it's time to slow down in the warm pools of Ti Kwen Glo Cho Hot Springs before a final view over Roseau from Morne Bruce.
Expect a mix of easy walking and swimming, so come ready to get wet. Pickup is part of the plan, the route is set in advance, and your guide keeps the pace comfortable so there's time to linger at each stop.
Why This Journey
Dominica is one of the Caribbean's wildest islands, and this route gathers several of its best-loved natural sites into a single day: a gorge you swim through, a crater lake, two waterfalls side by side and hot springs to finish.
With a private guide and vehicle, it suits nature lovers who want to see the island's interior at a comfortable pace, including those arriving by cruise ship.

Trafalgar Falls
A short path brings you to a viewpoint facing two waterfalls side by side, spilling down the valley wall.

Time to slow down. Settle into warm natural pools fed by the island's geothermal activity, and try the mineral mud if you like.
