Tobago Carnival is younger and smaller than its sister festival in Trinidad, and that's its charm: island-sized fetes, beaches between events and a crowd that feels like one big lime.
This trip covers Carnival weekend with Iconic Mas, from J'ouvert morning to the street parade in full costume and Beach to Beach on Monday. Around it you'll fete at Stink and Dutty, Duck It and Nirvana All White Party, and tour the island, from Fort King George to Buccoo Reef, the Nylon Pool and No Man's Land.
Why This Journey
You get the full Carnival experience without the size and pace of a big-city carnival. Your fete tickets, costume collection and transport are handled, your Soca Islands Host is with you throughout, and there's still time for the beach.

Group itinerary
Arrive at A.N.R. Robinson International Airport (TAB) in Tobago and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in, have a swim or explore Crown Point.
In the evening, meet your Soca Islands Host and the rest of the group at the welcome lime.
Start with Fort King George above Scarborough, Tobago's capital, for history and wide views over the coast.
Then head out by boat over Buccoo Reef, stop to swim in the clear, waist-deep water of the Nylon Pool and land on No Man's Land, a sand spit in Bon Accord Lagoon. The day ends with time on the beach.
An early start for Stink and Dutty, a morning cooler fete where you bring your own drinks and the music gets going at sunrise.
After some rest, it's on to Duck It in the evening.
J'ouvert morning on the road with Iconic Mas, covered in paint, mud and powder as the island celebrates the opening of Carnival.
Head back to clean up and rest, then party into the night at Nirvana All White Party.
Road day. Get ready with the group, then join the photoshoot in your full Iconic Mas costume before the band heads out.
Spend the day on the road with Iconic Mas in the street parade.
Carnival Monday on the coast: Beach to Beach with the band, in your Monday wear, moving with the music from one beach to the next.
Time for goodbyes. Transfer to the airport for your flight home or on to Trinidad.

We believe solo travelers shouldn’t have to pay extra to explore the world. That’s why our group trips are designed around shared accommodation and do not include a single supplement. Solo travelers joining our group trips are paired in twin or multi-share rooms with another traveler of the same sex for the duration of the trip.
Some of our Independent trips are structured differently. For these itineraries, solo travelers will need to book at the single occupancy rate.
